Etchings

A reproducible image is cut into a metal plate either by using acid or hand tools. Ink is then applied into the cut lines and the surface of the plate is cleaned. Paper is then pressed into the metal plate with high pressure and a mirror image of the design is transferred  onto the paper, one print at a time.
